Craft & Concept makes a new wooden etching press with the Collins family with baltic birch drums. The Collins family uses the press for their group The Lost Arts Collective to print work from their members. The Lost Arts Collective is based out of Lawrence, Kansas. This is one of the nicest machines we have made yet. The custom bearing journals help make the wooden tower design raise and lower smoother. And the increased size of the top drum made for a better grip on the block and press bed. The structure is made of American maple, while the bearing journals are black walnut. If you would like to find out more about making a printing press yourself send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
